Erzähle mir von deiner Katze, wie heißt sie, was hat sie für eine Persönlichkeit? Wünscht du dir bestimmte Farben? Gefällt dir vielleicht eines meiner Bilder besonders gut, und du möchtest deine Katze auch auf diese Weise gemalt haben? Gefällt dir mein Malstil? Dann brauche iich ein paar möglichst scharfe Fotos von deiner Katze, die Augen sollten gut erkennbar sein und nicht im Schatten liegen.

Was schwebt dir vor? Ein Portrait vor abstraktem Hintergrund, oder soll dein Garten oder ein Zimmer auf dem Bild zu sehen sein?

It depends on size and details, also on the technique. Oil takes much longer to dry than acrylics. A rough estimate is between six weeks and three months for medium and large pieces.

Mixed Media means I use different techniques, like acrylic inks, pens, spraypaint, acrylics and more, in a painting. Once finished, the painting  is sealed with Varnish.

Oil based paint can take anything from two days to two weeks until dry to the touch, depending on temperature and humidity and the thickness of the layers. Once dry to the touch, I can add another layer. Again it will need a few weeks or months even, depending on the thickness, to dry until the  final varnish can be applied to seal the surface.
